Meriofert®
(menotropin)
What is Meriofert®?
Meriofert® is used by women who do not ovulate and women currently receiving fertility treatment (IVF, ICSI). Meriofert® is a human menopausal gonadotropin in highly purified form.
Merofert® is exclusively available with prescription and can only be prescribed by gynaecologists. The following dosage strengths are available: 75 IE, 150 IE and 900 IE.
Who is Meriofert® for?
Women who do not ovulate and who did not respond to other treatments (clomiphene citrate) and women currently receiving fertility treatment.
What does Meriofert® do?
Meriofert® stimulates the development of multiple follicles (and, therefore, multiple egg cells) in women who receive fertility treatment.
